In this method, immediately after the extraction of the tooth, the implant is placed inside the tooth socket in order that the implant bone union with the implant is done, and in this method, after implant surgery, on the same day, a temporary crown is placed on the implant and remains there during the bone union that the beautiful smile will be provided with this temporary crown from the first day of surgery. Then, at the end of healing or union period, the temporary crown will be replaced with a permanent crown. In this method (immediate implant), the patient will never stay without teeth.
In the patient in the picture above, three teeth were simultaneously extracted and the immediate implants were placed and bone grafting was performed and simultaneously the temporary crowns were delivered.
In the usual way of dental implant placing, after tooth extraction, the denture or dental bridge should be used temporarily, or even leave it empty until the extraction place is healed. Then the implant base is placed in the jaw bone and you still have to wait a few months until the dental implant is ready to be coated. This limitation has been resolved by the immediate implant placing by the dental implant specialist in Tehran. This means that you can immediately place the implant and then put a temporary crown in the same session.
In general, this method is more suitable for replacement of the anterior teeth restore the smile and it does not apply to the posterior teeth practically. The crown that is put on the implant in the same implant placing session is a temporary crown and will be replaced after 3 to 4 months with the original crown.

Better Consistency of crown and the gum: In a conventional implantation method, a cylindrical healing cap is put on a newly placed implant to form the gum tissue. In the immediate implant, the gum tissue can be shaped with a temporary crown that looks more like a permanent crown, so the gum tissue is more consistent with the permanent crown and the result is aesthetically better.
Maintaining the height and thickness of the bone: Maintenance of the height and thickness of the bone after tooth extraction is important for the beauty and success of the implant treatment.
Increasing the patient self-confidence with a same day dental implant: Tooth loss in the anterior regions is an unfortunate event for many people. With the same day immediate implants, it is possible to replace a missing tooth immediately after tooth loss.

Implant placing surgery, like any other surgery, has its own potential dangers. Fortunately, possible complications in dental implant placing are very unlikely. Therapeutic planning with the help of three-dimensional X-ray technology, combined with the individual characteristics of the implant specialist, including being skilled and experienced, makes the results of many treatments predictable and the surgery will be performed in the best way. Post-operative care and diet have a significant effect on the healing process. The patients are asked not to use their implant teeth during the first three to four months. Because during this period, no force should be applied to the implant because the process of implant fixing to the jaw bone is under progress. This process is not something to do quickly, but it takes several months. In fact, in the first six weeks, the connection of the implant to the bone is weakened and then becomes stronger day by day.
Same day Implants and coatings are usually needed due to fractures, deep decays and severe tooth injuries. Implant treatment is performed by physical examination, followed by two-dimensional or three-dimensional x-ray photography.
Prior to the same day implant surgery: During a pre-surgery session, the patient's health status is also considered for all medications that they consume or should take. The antibiotics are prescribed for them if necessary. Also, sometimes anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial mouthwashes are prescribed and instructions are given to the patient for using it.
Surgery Day of Immediate Implant Placing: Like any other surgeries, anesthesia is used. If necessary, the mouth impression will be performed before tooth extraction. Broken or damaged tooth is carefully pulled to minimize the amount of gum and bone damage around it. The tooth socket is carefully cleaned to ensure that no infectious tissue remains. The implant place is being prepared and the dental implants are drilled in the jaw bone. If the amount of torque used is high enough, it may be possible to put the coating on the dental implant. This is part of the treatment that cannot be determined beforehand. If the amount of torque is low, the healing abutment is screwed on the implant and Plan B will be executed. Plan B means that a temporary bridge or denture is currently used to replace the tooth crown. Before bonding the coating, bone grafting may be required to fill the gaps between the implants and the rest of the tooth socket. In addition, from a soft tissue graft, the membrane or palate graft may be used to protect the bone grafting. At the end, the temporary coating is fixed and adjusted. The temporary crown is adjusted so that it does not touch the opposite tooth when chewing or biting. Now, you can go home.
The patient returns to the office to be examined two weeks after dental implant surgery. And he/she must refer to the office every month for the next checkup, Three months later, the impression is done to make the final restoration.
Even the smallest movement of the implant during the period of restoration (three months after the day of implant surgery) increases the risk of treatment failure: The immediate attachment of the temporary crown is very precise, and the implant specialist must take the necessary precautions to ensure that the implant does not move during the integrity with the jaw bone.
All implant surgeries have a little percentage of risk: There are several factors that can make the treatment process difficult. If the jaw bone- implant integration is not successful or the tissue around the gum is infectious, treatment failure may occur in the short term. There is even a risk of infection in the long-term, and it's always possible that the implant's mechanical failure occurs when excessive force is applied and it is more likely seen in people who have poor hygiene and do not follow the implant's recommendations.
Proper care of the area around the implant is important in the first few months after surgery in order to prevent infection and to ensure that excessive force is not applied to the implant. If this kind of care is difficult for the patient, it is better to consider the use of conventional dental implants that is performed in two stages of surgery.

Bruxism or the excessive teeth grinding also has a negative effect on implant treatment, since it causes a lot of pressure on the crown and implant.
Patients who use dental implants should adhere to proper oral health. Otherwise, the surrounding tissue may become infectious similar to peri-implantitis which is a gum disease. This condition can lead to failure of the implant in the absence of immediate treatment.
Prescribed drugs should be consumed in a properly and timely manner.
Heavy exercise should be avoided up to 2 weeks after dental implant surgery.
Do not eat hard and solid or foods.
